Post by tru72 »

Well finally i got to run a few 1/4 runs last night.
I grudge matched a 450 dirt bike LOL I lost, but i ran a 16.5 @73 mph, he ran a 15.1@60mph. My second run was a 15.5 at 73mph. the second run I was 1 second faster in the 1/8 than previous runs..

change that gear ratio and you may run mid 11's like me!
Can't afford speed then stay away from it!

my bike was running crappy,, LOL i think I ported the bore to big, it was having a small bog during the transition to high rpms. SO i had to slack alittle then reapply throttle..My 1/8 mile times was over a second slower than usual...
What gearing did you use speeding?
