Yep,and I oiled it per the tech manual with the oil that is recommended. I sprayed the outside with carb cleaner while running looking for any leaks.
Now that I think about it,the only thing I didn't do is,I have a smoke machine that I use on cars. I think I will bring it home with me and see if I find any leaks like that. I will put the smokein the air intake at air cleaner and seal it up. If there is any leak between that and engine, thesmoke will come out
I have looked at o rings, gaskets, ect. The smoke will be a good test for any air leaks as it seems like that must be the problem. What do you think?

BTW,with it running like it is,I can get up to 33 MPH on flat ground

Yep,I am wondering if I should change the needle on the throttle cable to a different setting. It is where it was when I got the scooter. Do you thing that might help?

try lowering the needle to a leaner setting, cant hurt.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
