If the batt is good and the electrical is good, the second you flip the key horn, starter and every light except the dash back light, the headlight and the high beam light should come on when you operate their switches/buttons.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
I changed the fuse and she turns over with the starter button for the first time in a decade!!Kenny_McCormic wrote:If the batt is good and the electrical is good, the second you flip the key horn, starter and every light except the dash back light, the headlight and the high beam light should come on when you operate their switches/buttons.
In the next couple days I will work on getting it running again - I'm almost 100% positive the carb/autobystarter is the blame. Having an electric start will make it much easier to adjust and quickly see if it helps.

The current makes the batteries way different, if you take two nine volt batteries they ain't gonna turn over a car engine.PimpinSpree wrote:they are no different. they are both 12 volts, only difference is a bigger battery would last longer before needing to charge-aL- wrote:that fuse is almost definatly blown. car batteries are wayyy more powerful than that little fuse could handle

Yes but the spree wont take all the cars current unless it has problems.gobucks wrote:The current makes the batteries way different, if you take two nine volt batteries they ain't gonna turn over a car engine.PimpinSpree wrote:they are no different. they are both 12 volts, only difference is a bigger battery would last longer before needing to charge-aL- wrote:that fuse is almost definatly blown. car batteries are wayyy more powerful than that little fuse could handle
