Anyone ever tinkered with a Garelli moped? I found one at a garage sale about 15 years ago ... bought it as a pile of parts in several boxes and put it back together ... had a lot of fun with that little Italian thing.
It's still sitting in the barn at my parents' farm in Canada ... I've thought about bringing it down to North Carolina and fixing it up again. If I remember correctly, the gas tank had a fair bit of rust in it, but I'm sure it's nothing that a good chemical bath and coating couldn't take care of. POR15 sells this sort of kit ... anyone ever try it?
I think the model was a "Garelli EurekaMatic". It had a Pirelli rear tire ... quite the classy machine!
