Airbox question

Where does air draw into the airbox? I see a square tube on the bottom that looks likely - it looks like everywhere else is sealed off. Is this square tube the only inlet?

If it's anything like my 89 Elite, then yes, it's all the way at the back, pointing down. That way any water doesn't get in.

Thanks for the reply - that's the only inlet on the box? I though I read people saying there was more than one

well on my 84 spree and also on my part bike 85 spree yeh all ive noticed is that square intake hole, and if i remember i think it got double holes right?
New to the moped scene.

on the elite-s one side is plugged just cut it out and do the correct derestrictions at the same time.
