Kick start is stuck

one day i was riding down the road and i stop to talk to somebody and when i tryed to restart the starter was frozen what might it be it wont move for any thing. any help its a 83 honda spree i believe not sure on the year

there were no sprees in '83. if it has a kick start its probably an '86 or '87, unless someone added the kick start to an '84-'85. take the cover off and see if you can un-stick it

Year is behind the front wheel.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

ok i dont have time to get the year i took the blet cover off and the belt was free . it has something to do with something atached to the belt cover

You dont have time to take 1 step toward the fron, turn the wheel and look at the frame? Its in big numbers.
