speedometer help

Post by Uknwulikethat »

K guys my speedometer is shot. The cable is brand new. I know when I get home Im going to check to see if that slot where the cable goes ( apolgys for not knowing part names) spins. From what I understand if it spins, its shot....So how do i replace it, fix it, or name that part. Any help is appreciated Thanks

Simple, just buy a new one on eBay. It's a matter of feeding the cable through the frame, unscrewing a screw and twisting a thing at the top. Remember to lubricate it though... I think. I've broken two speedometer cables all ready and I'm thinking that's the reason why (or maybe because I'm always over 55... haha)
