You can cross reference parts using online parts searches
I go to powersportspro.com

In this case, it does look that the starter pinion assembly is compatible

SA50 - 2001 (Used 2oo1 to match your year)
31209-GR1-014
PINION ASSY., STARTER (Honda Code 4118063) (14T/63T)

SA50 - 88-93 (Used '92 to match your ebay reference)
31209-GR1-004
PINION ASSY., STARTER (Honda Code 2146298) (14T/63T)

No lie.
when i got my elite there was no starter motor, there for there was no reason for this to be in there. So i took it out, its been sitting in a box under my bed rolled up in the red rag.

I really like to keep all my extra parts. But i also like to help out members of the forum too.

Probably like $6 to ship priority.. so I'd guess $21 shipped would cover it. Sounds like better deal than that ebay one
