well porting always helps, but the intake dont look half bad IMO.
i wouldn't bother. But if you have allot of extra time and you know what your doing, then go for it i guess.

There isnt anything to improve.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

on the actual manifold there is much to do.

but where it enters the case underneith the reeds you can do some good. actually i did quite a bid under there.

well.
i had a 100% stock bike doing an EASY 35 with no carb tuning, untill the exhaust broke about 3 miles later. from what i hear with a totally stock bike its pretty hard to do 35 like it did.

with a drilled stock jet (not really tuned to any degree. just drilled bigger) and a Phongeer long i was doing 50.

I never had the bike running before i did the port and polish so i cant really give you a before and after ..

35mph is very common on a stock honda elite.

and where are you getting this 50mph ? you do know that 50mph on the speedometer is really when the needle underlines the mph.

50mph is a bold statement for just a pipe and a jet.

Agreed. The only way I could hope to breach 40 with my stock vari/gears is off a cliff. My stock vari just *can't* push the belt higher when I pass 35 (regardless of engine power). I'm not running an SR however...
