your town as flooded as mine???

i swear all of southwest Michigan is flooded. Its been raining like all yesterday, and now like all today. the town north of me is so full of water they closed off the city streets. When my friends and i where out driving there was people in the streets, water upto there knees.
Then trying to get to my house was like a maze, half the roads had water over a foot deep.
I have never seen anything like this here before, this area has never had flood problems but today its out of control.

Its raining so bad over here a tree fell down from the weight, my basement is flooding, and my yard is a pond.

There was a tree here a couple hours ago, rain weighed it down and snapped it off, too bad it didnt smash something (money is good).

The yard is a mudpit and will be for at least a week.

BTW that stove is all the winter heat we have AND I DO HALF THE WORK getting wood and feeding it.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

i had to re size them down some, so people with smaller screens can see it easier, and so people with slow internet it will load faster.

I desided to do a quick run on my Trac to get some picture myself....
Here is a local bridge, the river is typically a good 4 feet below the bottom of the bridge...

Here is a friend of mines yard....

There was one spot i really wanted to get a picture of but i could not make it though the water to get the picture, i got about a 1/3rd of the way into the water and could not make it any more, the water has such a flow that when i came to a stop it d*** near pushed me over.
The motor died so i had to put it out of the water to get a picture from a different angel, that car there made it all the way though before it stalled out.

and lastly, a local hang out for the southwest michigan moped mafia, its a huge open grass field where we can park and hang out, theirs also a few picket tables, and a little dock thing that leads out over the river, again, typically a good few feet above the water....

Isn't this what I just got chewed out for by you? Basically hi-jacking the thread. Seems sort of unfair.
