Is it worth the money to buy a big bore kit, high speed variator, and like a 1500 or 2000 clutch springs for like $150 or save for a dio engine to pop up?
id be happy with like 50 mph.

well, there is allot of break though on the SE50 lately, with being able to change gears and what not. But overall i would say wait and get a dio motor.

it takes allot more cash to build up a SE50.

well, people have been modding the SE50 motor quiet a bit lately. but im not going to lie, it takes some cash to build one up. its allot cheaper to just find a dio motor.

you've just gotta figure an extra 130 for stock dio gears to regear. That would buy a good chunk of a dio motor

I bet you can get the stock gears used for nearly nothing.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

but would you trust them? I sure wouldn't.. I've had some used gears just slip on the shaft after being pressed a second time, not a good feeling

but on the topic, dio swap no doubt :)
projects galore :nerd:
