79 honda enduro

getiing fire from the points to the coil but the fire deadeds off. tried all coils on spare bikes and the coils work great but wont work on the enduro. could anyone idenify the problem o-ya its a 250 2-stroke.

How can you tell it's not working? No spark from coil wire to ground, or none at the spark plug?

Yea, could be the plug. BTW a ported out 125 enduro will run circles around that bike

no there is no fire coil to ground. piuonts are good. there are 4 wires running from the points/magnito two are hot and two are returns for a batery. The two hots will spark off of the motor. One hot is to a headlight one is to the cdi box or ignithion module. When I run them through a cdi box off of a three wheeler I get some spark but it deadends off if I ground them out. Even when I run them through a coil I get nothing but the coil is good I tested two out on my four stroke bike. Do i need a two stroke cdi box and a coil that grounds on the body because the coils I'm using are off of a scooter with two wires to them.
