1988 SA50 cylinder head shroud

Post by surefire1939 »

Can anyone tell me if a 1994 Honda Elite SA50 cylinder head shroud will fit on a 1988 Honda Elite SA50. Right now i don't have one and it's harder than * to find one. If the 94 doesn't fit can i do something to make it fit untill i find the right one. I got the bike without the cover and i don't want to ride it without one. I also have a 12v bilge blower that people use on race cars to cool the brakes. If this was put above the cylinder head would it cool it enought?, it's a 3" tube fan. I just don't want to fry the thing riding it without enought cooling air. Thanks for any info.

If you can't find a shroud, you could make a head shroud from aluminum that would work. Not sure on your air pump...

94 and up parts fit
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

if you can get a complete 94+ fan shroud it will work.

but as for just the top piece, that will not match up with 93 under bikes.

1996--------Honda Elite S-
1991--------Tomos Targa-
And a Bunch of other bikes.
