yo, come on guys. this site is helping so many people and u are trying to ruin it. noiseguy has had to pay for all this stuff and your staeling it away from him, and everyone else here. its fine to have your own site, i just dont see why, when this is idenical to yours and you are even using our stuff.

Darat,

A couple of etiquette notes about building sites:

1) It is not cool to steal other people's content without saying where you've gotten it. You populated your tech docs board with mostly borrowed content from here. You need to reference this site on top. And yes, I asked permission from the authors before posting anything here. You did not.

2) It is really not cool to link the service manuals from this site to yours. I'm paying for this site's bandwidth, and you're stealing it with your links. I want those removed now. I am not paying to add content to your site. If you want to host the PDF manuals, then you can pay for the hosting and bandwidth costs.

Just because I need your Spree does not mean that it is OK to steal it. You've been warned and are now ignoring me. Bad karma for you and your site.

I'm least impressed by the fact that you two (Darat and Myscoot) couldn't even come up with something unique and interesting on your own. As you are both (or should be) aware, there is no targeted site for Yamaha (Razz, etc) scoots. How about launching a forum for that? Or did you just think it was easier to copy something that was already there and steal bandwidth?

And who do you expect to follow you? I don't know if you've noticed, but the main value of the site is tech information provided by myself and other core members of the board, who know who they are. Do you expect them to start monitoring your board to and posting there as well?

hey i stoped the site ok, so dont yell at me. darat got it going again so dont yell at me dude. i just was plying around for fun, i never mant to publish it. i just was playing wiht we design. and the site is for all scooters vespa yamaha, viza, i forgot the other one but there for most scootes. and there is nothing on there that is the sam e as yours i i put on there. its all different. the manuals darat put on so dont yell at me. i told him i dont wanna get u mad at me so dont put em on but he told me not to worry about it even tho i still did.

well i think that ur kinda of * about what were doin. mainy ur site deals with sprees. i am a honda guy and i would not even think about putin a fourms up for a dumb razz they suck. i will take YOUR manuals off the site because UR being mean about it. And even if i did ask u would not of let us use it anyways. so yeah.

Darat, since you seem to have picked up the banner and run with it:

You blatantly copied material off this site to start another site, and then to top it off blind-linked the manuals. All bad form. Are you surprized that I, and other users here, are * off? What did you expect?

And now you're PM'ing users here to get them to join your site. That's spamming. I've already had several complaints about this, so knock that off as well. If you continue to abuse your account here I'll close it.

As far as a Razz site goes, I really don't care what you do with that suggestion. All I'm suggesting is that you take your (apparently) abundant energy and apply it to something worthwhile, rather than just copying things around you. This site exists b/c the existing forums either didn't talk about Honda scoots at all ( www.mopedarmy.com ), or talked about so many other makes that it was hard to get any help with them ( www.scooterbbs.com ). This site filled that vacuum.

If you want to start a site, it needs to fill a targeted need. For example
- Fixing Honda Sprees ( www.hondaspree.net )
- Riding scooters in Detroit ( www.dtour-sc.com )
- Fixing Honda DOHC '79-'83 750-1100cc ( www.cb1100f.net )

Get the idea? Copying stuff is just lame. I liked the way www.cb1100f.net was laid out. I contacted the Admin there, found out how to set up a real (not free) forum to discuss just Spree, b/c there was a need. Now that so many users have Elites, and there's nowhere to go for that either, this site covers those too. I didn't copy the www.cb1100f.net site, and focus on DOHC Hondas. Why bother? There's already a site that covers it.

Have fun with your site, but get my material off it, unless you are going to pay to host it yourself.
