What is the blue pipe coming out on the left side of the front of the engine?

Ahhhh, but I thougth the air inlet was on the exhaust side of the engine. Do I have this wrong?

yeahh its on the left side of the bike...i figured more air hitting the motor wouldnt hurt

Ok, so it doesn't tie into the fan/ducting air flow. Just dump air in to other parts if the motor. Can't hurt. I thought about adding a cover and duct facing forward for the fan inlet, but finally figgered a 30 to 40 mph isn't much ram effect.

yeahh..thats y i did it..probably be doing a plus to keep the other parts cooler
