Honda Elite Dip stick location?
I have a Honda Elite 80 and have been trying to locate the dip stick to check the engine oil. Well I think I found it and it has this nice new looking screw, well I took it off and no dip stick connected. According to my service manual it shows juist like a little droopy thing hanging from the back of the screw. Is the fill location and dip stick in different places? The pictures on the service manual are horrible and I can't tell where it is located.

Dipstick Location
Greetings:
AMSGWP axes:
In your case, it's usually sitting right there on the saddle.
Ha-ha, I keed, I keed you.
We're actually a very simple lot here. Speakin' for myself of course, but we don't know from yer fancy overhead camshafts and wet sump lubrication systems. I'd ask your friendly Authorized Honda Dealership. The owner's manual didn't come with the bike? The print quality is usually better.
Check for a big plastic knob around the bottom of the engine crankcase. Usually no tools are required.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

On the right hand side right below the muffler is the "dipstick" to check the oil.
The oil drain plug is on the left side of the scooter, near the kickstand, it is an allen type screw. Drain the oil there, I think it is either a 10mm or 12 mm allen screw.
Oil is put in thru the dipstick hole, around 600 cc or almost 7/8 of an oil quart bottle, 10w40 is okay to use.
If you removed the screw underneath the engine, a little oil might have come out, but that is the cam tensioner screw. A little oil coming out is okay, (talking dabs here).
