Greetings:

If you have the tools and the talent, that's a great deal. Know what's wrong with the first bike yet?

I really like the style of that Geely. Pity about the color... :)

the piston and cylinder are siezed, the variator....all 6 rollers were sitting on top of the ramps. and from that, the kid bought a goodyear belt cause the stock one was so wide it wouldnt fit lol. thats where im at with that. dac, i have no clue about the stickers. i will ask him about them. if anyone can help me out on any sites, i need to find someone that deals with the geelys. the engine code is JLIPE40QMB its a 2004 Geely. thanks. 8)

Dont all those Chinese 4 strokes use Honda OHV GY6 clones? Throw a cheapo ebay bore kit on it and call it a day.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

90% of chines scooters use the QMB139 motors. (Honda Gy6 Clone)
I used some ebay 85cc kit. Its no speed demon. But its got nice overall power upto 45-50mph pending on rider.

Did you ever find a parts place for your Geely? I have the same engine model (JLIPE40QMB) and my model is 50QT-21.

It leaks fuel... at the fuel valve - there's a fuel-in connection, output to carb, and a "vent" line that has a short hose on it with a screw in the hose. Gas seems to be leaking out of that. I believe the vaccume line is in on the one side... and the three other hoses are on the edge (in/out/vent). Sorry I'm using such technical terms here.

I filled the tank... and have documented 20 mpg on the thing.... I think most of it is leaking out of the valve.

Does anyone know where I might find parts for this? Specifically for this model? Like yours, it's about 6 years old.. I'd like to get it fixed enough to sell it!

HI i just got into these 40QMB 50cc 2 stroke engines ( i was forced to :) )
so i understand quite alot about them now. they have a vacuuum assisted shut off tap near the fuel tank and some issues with leaky carbs, i think yours is one of these , try emailing me exportstrength@googlemail.com and i'll send some carb pictures so you can tell me where it's leaking from and i'll try to tell you what the problem is , they are not too complicated so it shouldn't be too hard for you to fix, Thanks
