plugs?

Post by spoch »

Quick question.... What plug should be used in a 86 NQ50. The manual I have states it is a BPR4HSA. I found BPR4HS and have read in the forum that people are using BPR6HSA. What is the difference? what does the a at the end mean??? The parts store said there is no such plug BPR4HSA.. Anyhelp?

For Cold Tempuratures: BPR4HSA
For Normal Riding: BPR6HSA
For Extended Riding: BPR8HSA

Nobody knows what the trailing A is for, I would just get the one without the A. Extended riding is anything where you will be at full throttle for over a mile. I run a 8 as I live in the country and "town" only has one intersection with a stoplight.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
