Spree Hydrolocking
Greetings:
It sounds like the crankcase is filled with oil. The oil makes its way up into the combustion chamber where it is trapped by the piston. Oil cannot compress.
Easiest way is to pull the engine out, tip it over and allow the oil to drain out completely. Then examine the source, likely a leaky bad oil pump. Repair or replace the pump to avoid a recurrence every time the scooter sits for a long period. Honda-san says pump is non-rebuildable, but some brave Forumistes have taken theirs apart. Not sure any got it back together.
Another option is to plug the oil pump hole and manifold inlet and burn pre-mix.
You can do all this with the engine in the frame if you remove the manifold and reeds, but risk scratching up some Valuable Plastic Accoutrements, and squatting by a low bike sucks.
The good news is that your main bearings are probably remarkably well-preserved...

mine did this watch ur level of oil to make sure its not goin down or it defeats the purpose of doing this,
with the plug in kick it over til it wont let u any more take the plug out and kick it til no oil comes out ( oil will spray everywhere so do this some where u dont mind it getting everywhere)
repeat the process until u can kick it as many time as u want and it dosent seize from pressure. clean your spark plug and spray off with starting fluid when ur done it dries up any oil reaidue left
if this keeps happening and ur oil level drops sigificantly there is another problem
when this happened to mine it had sat for several years in which the oil seaped into the cylinder/crankcase causing the pressure buildup hope this helps

Anyone else think the cloud from starting after clearing the excess will be visible from the space station?
Take video please!

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
oh yeah forgot to say unhook the vacum line off the carb so u dont spray in a crap load of fuel lol and i drilled a 1/4 inch hole on the bottom of my exhaust body bout 2 inches from the neck, if ur cylinder is filling up with oil somes gonna run down into the exhaust, this hole allows it to drain with out big loss in back pressure, oh and dont forget to put a bucket under it there be a puddle on ur floor if u dont.... when theres not so much oil comin out screw in a bolt to seal it up
oh and wheelman the cloud probally could be seen from space... i couldnt see my hand in front of my face it was that thick lol

Smoke Gets In Your Ionosphere
Greetings:
After assembling The Mighty Polini - liberally brushing everything with a thick coating of GN2 - the Moment of Truth had arrived.
It arrived on the second-floor balcony of my apartment here in Deepinnaharta, Texas. Battery charged, spark plug lead- yes, connected -switch on, kill off, hold brake, kiss the starter and...
Flash goes: FOOMM!
Kaff-kaff-kaff --Hoch Ptui!
Downstairs on their patio, neighbors who had been enjoying their T-bones and Budweisers and Marlboros walked over to ask "Y'all grillin'?" Double-
"Y'all like smokin'? Here ya go!
It wasn't the first time Wheelman broke up a nice party. Won't be the last.

Well, my NQ50 is being weird, its not filling, but my oil light is on. and i have oil, but i don't think i have 2 stroke injector oil in, im gonna drain my oili have now, and put 2 stroke in, andif that doesnt work, im going to run premix.
What ratio should i use for premix? and how would i go about making my scoot run premix.
Thanks

Who's working on this right now?Kenny_McCormic wrote:There is currently development on replacing the pump seal.
I actually have a Spree pump amoung my parts that someone replaced the seal on. You can see where they used a hammer and punch to retain the new seal.

I have seal dimensions - 9.5mm x 16mm x 4mm. There's an inch dimension seal very close too. Been thinking about ideas for retention, staking the case rim was one. Your pump shows someone's beat me to that idea.Who's working on this right now?
