Performance CDI

Post by kho20 »

well i was wondering if a performance cdi would make any difference speed, accel and mpg wise. i saw on ebay they run bout $17 or $22 for an adjustable one.

they offer them for a wide range of scooters ( spree, elite) i would like to kno the difference if any for a 86' spree bone stock

im sure alot of people would like to kno if this works or if its just a waste of money ??

nope. only reason to get one is in the unlikely case of the stock one dying. they do nothing, except look cool and stuff

An adjustble one would be nice if you plan on running meth in it.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I put a cdi that i stole of ebay for literally $4 with shipping brand new and it was the $40 ones.

i dont gain any speed unless im going down a hill. It does let it gain some rpm though but i top out at about 34 mph at a flat straight away
