Air Box Question

well, as many of you know, my carb is gettin freaky deaky on me, so my bike runs like crap.. but i took off the top of the air box (lid) and now it even idles all by itself! and it goes alot faster!.... should i just drill like 20 holes in it?

Do you have a clean air filter in it?

yes, check the filter first. do this by removing filter and checking to see that no air passage is blocked. reseal box without filter. if it runs then clean your filter.

there could also be a wrong jet in the carb. unlikely but stock is a #65.
