difference between jugs/cylinders "A" "B"

Post by tonrogs »

Whats the difference?

I have an 86 Spree where somebody had replaced the jug/cylinder from another spree they had....I dont think they checked whether it was the same one or not. I am in need of a new one and should I use the same one as whats on there? Or can we figure out the correct one from my VIN or something? And lastly...Whats the difference??

I believe Jug A/B matches the case. Ideally, you want to match replacement to original. Jugs are marked on the exhaust, not sure about the case. Anyone else?
