left side engine cover interchangable? 86 spree

I have an 86' Spree with a kickstart and would like to get rid of the kickstart....Will a cover off one without the kickstart fit? If so, is there any modifications need to be done? Looks like it should swap to me, but would like another opinion... Thanks.....

i know for a fact that a nonkickstart cover will bolt right up.

There's more to remove than just the cover... read in Tech Docs about adding one. Most guys are trying to add these to scoots that don't have them... but it looks cleaner without.
