Trouble with flywheel
Im having alot of trouble getting the flywheel off my 84 spree. I've tried chevyguy's advice in the tech docs to no avail. Are there any other techniques that might work? And what is a crowsfoot?(claw end of hammer?) Thanks
You might need to go to Autozone and rent what i think is the "steering wheel" puller. You pay for it then get $ back when you return it and you can keep it for up to 30 days. If you want i will get the part number for you if you have an Autozone near you.

You must get lucky just using the wigglejust wiggle it back and forth
Anyways, Autozone tool number 27017. You will need fender washers (big washer...small hole for bolt) and bolts if you don't have any. I found my cylinder head bolts are same size as threads in flywheel. Maybe take a head bolt to get correct threads. Pic below is tool. Fender washers will keep bolts from jamming into the slots of tool.
