I was going to buy gears and a pulley from him one time. I got a tip from Dac to call VTcycles, turns out Daywot's parts would have ran me $160 with shipping for gears and pulley, VT says $110 shipped from hawaii to my doorstep in Saginaw, MI.

I can see why he does the stuff with shipping because I do it also, but I only overinflate by 2-3 bucks, it just covers my time and gas going out to ship things.

bradthreee wrote:That really sucks but I see it all the time on ebay. Sellers list their items on the low end, then add the difference on the shipping charges. The reason they do that is because sellers don't have to pay any fees to Ebay on the shipping charges. Whenever I see an item like that i avoid buying it. If i really need it then I contact the seller and ask him to lower the shipping charges. They usually agree to cut some off of it.
Me as a seller on Ebay, I understand hiking up the shipping a few dollars to cover some of the fees, shipping supplies, and my time but usually people understand as long as the fees are not rediculous. $31 for shipping on items that weight a few pounds and can fit in a flat rate priority mail box, which costs around $8 is rediculous. I would have understood paying up to $14.
It's weird, as doing this is against eBay policy, and what angers me most about that is that someone made it so I can't do this as a seller because they were unhappy, yet others get away with it daily. Granted, I sell media for a living, but it still sucks that I can't put $10 shipping on a flat rate Priority Mail envelope for a CD (now I have to add a handling fee to get to $10), yet others can charge $31 for the same envelope (which is @$8.60 currently & $2 for the 1st $100 insurance & $1 each additional).
But I'm just mad cuz I got caught and can't. If I can't, then no one can!

The Kymco tail. In bag from Kymco with part number scraped off.

The short mirrors.

The "OKO" variator, I don't think it is one, do you?
Image
Opened up the package, It looks like it was opened and re-stapled. Ramp guides black, silver plate.
I will be making a call I think. Package and receipt say "DDX Type", receipt also says OKO.
What say the experts?

My OKO didnt come in that type of packaging. It was colorful like pink and blue or something like that if I remembered correctly. Also my ramp plate was black. It could be a possibility that mine wasn't an OKO

i just got my parts in from daywot on thursday

i had ordered...
yms V8 pipe =$125 bin(buy it now)
keli vari=$40 bin
9.1-1 gears=$65 bin
keli clutch=$75 bin
roller pack=$30 bin
got all that for $375 shipped...when the package came in the shipping charge was $37.??
so he net $338
the above parts total $335 so he really only made a $3 handleing charge

but all in all it was a good buying experience, he kept good communication, and shipped in a timely fasion

oh and all the shipping charges added up on each part would have been $81 dollars so i "could" have had to pay $416 shipped

Confusion ensues:
Patrick Day (Daywot) is selling an OKO roller set on eBay:

and that packaging looks like my "OKO" Pulley packaging.

So, is this an OKO Variator?
