What's tire psi should i run on my '88 Elite E. Tires are 2.75 front and rear. I'm about 175 lbs. Should i use the manuals specs or do you guys know otherwise?

should say on the side of the tire, i wouldnt go much over 40 psi

disregard given specs, what are your tires max pressure? likely 36psi if so best combination is
32psi rear 30psi front, great general riding and better performance
if max under36, just do about 5psi lower than max in rear and 6-7psi lower in front

Higher pressure are more efficient and give more speed, but they also lower your grip on the road.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
