using battery without electric start??
does anyone know a way to use a battery to start a '86 honda spree without the electric start. I tried a few things but none worked.

well I have a battery but not an electric start and I still believe(even though I can't do it) there is a way to start my scooter electricaly without the electric start using the two wires that go to the electric start. noiseguy
said there was a guy who drilled a hole in the side cover to start it with a cordless drill but I don't want to do it like that. They also said kickstart(which I would do but I believe it is totaly screwed). hopefully that is enough info.

There is no possible way for you to start your motor electrically without a starter motor. Period.
You have absolutely no way your motor can turn over to try to start without the starter motor. Unless you have a kickstart....
