What can be done for the Elite E, SB50?

The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

What can be done for the Elite E, SB50?

Post by Lunytune »

My wife's scoot is an E, and I knowEft37's wife's scoot is an E, and they are in Chicago where they really need a little more punch and a tad of speed.

Surely there is something that could be done for these scoots. I know there are no kits, but there's got to be something.

There are now bore kits available for the Spree's, which use virtually the same motor.

Maybe you could give it a try?

Who's got it? Daywot? Chopchop? Which is best to deal with? Best product?

I decided to take a chance and just bid on chopchop's kit. It's a 3 over. I'll report back when project is completed.

I understand Marc (chopchop) is a patron of this forum? What's his moniker?

Let me know how that kit works. I was waiting for him to get in his Spree pipes too and do a double order of pipe & bore.

Hey, does this mean you're going to spike up the Pink Panther? Your wife deserves it.
Marc also said he's having a gear ratio upgrade being made for the spree. Look for it to come on the market.

I just won the Spree kit and also upgrade kit for the Dio. Couple of other guys did want the Spree kit and one bid in last few seconds. Gotta watch them fence post vultures. Of which I am one.

Fellas,

Let me know how the bore kit works. I have a 1989 ELite E SB50. If it's worth it, I might do it...

I'll start a new thread with "ELite E SB50" in the title in this GD section. It may be a while though. Wife's on vacation and I don't want her knowing why I've got her scooter shut down. So I gotta wait til she goes back to work. Hope it works or I'm in trouble. :(
