That's what I was thinking. Noise as well, especially if the pipe is aftermarket or punctured.

Awe, come on guys. You're messing up my new enterprise. Besides, with the way most people have a blue tooth or MP3 stuck in their ear, what's a little noise. And the fumes, well... Charge them for the cheap drunk you give em. I still want one.

Though I've never visited the place, I've gotta sneakin' hunch there are thousands of similar units in So E. Asia, and likely some plans (and maybe even one for sale )somewhere in the 'homeland'.

Getchur self rigged up with Google Chrome. Costs nuthin' and it searchs like a fiend.
I just opened another window and 'chromed' 'Scooter Rickshaw.' Lotsa hits.

Check it out.

Google works no matter the browser and Chrome still has some bugs to work out.

I HATE CHROME

i thought it was going to be a really nice browser, and being the computer guy i am, i hated it. No plugins, lotsa bugs.

It's just like Windows Vista, won't ever use it, i'll stick with XP PRO SP3. Until Windows 7 comes out!

Who cares about google (chrome or not), you guys are getting off the subject of one of the best things I've seen on here in quite a while.

I live in the perfect town for one of these! Good weather year round, lots of tourist, lots of students, a great downtown, A LOT of bars and patrons, with speed limits about 25 mph every where I would want to go.

I already searched for them online, but was dissapointed with the prices/quality I found. So I talked with my roomate and some friends who are fabricators and they said they would help me out. I can do pretty much everything but the rough frame, and they are good what they do, so I will let them deal with the structural stuff

This could be a ridiculous business opportunity, or at worst a great way to pick up beautiful girls downtown SLO (San Luis Obispo). It's a winning situation no matter how you look at it.

Im really hoping to start on this sooner than later. Im thinking I will use my 99 S for it, and put some small attachment/hitch coming off the rear frame thru the plastics (as small a hole as possible). Rather than the "padlock" version, cuz I would hate to ruin any beautiful girls day! Im thinking I would also tap into the wiring with a quick disconnect harness, and put wires on the trailer.

I know that the youtube video was a joke (I love that the guy asks if they're going to play tennis  ). But I see rickshaws making a killing all over town behind bikes all the time. I really think this is a great idea if your town/area is meant for it.
