How much did you pay for your Big Bore Kit? Also where did you find it?

Greetings:

I read someplace that the kit had a #95 jet with it. That sounds way big for anything short of 65cc, especially with a stock pipe. Try perhaps an 82?

In Dire need of info for these big bore kits, what exactly is involved, what other parts are required/recommended, any modification of parts needed to fit. i would like to pick one of these up but am a little afraid. i understand the kit comes with the cylinder, piston, rings and gasket, what about the head, bolts, etc...
Also, will i need to upgrade to a larger carb or just upsize the jet in the standard carb.

86 Spree is already doin 32 steady with my 160 Lb. self on it but would like to get her to 35-38 if possible.

Thank You for you help.

P.S. I take it that this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Sp ... leQ5fParts is what your all talking about?

The kit comes with a jet, all you need to do is put that in your carb.

You will need to bore out your head, which if and when you buy the kit, theres a card with my number and email in there, i bore the stock spree head out to fit the 44mm piston for $20, that includes shipping, and boring the heads!

Well, in that case, I'd like to thank you in advance for providing a great service to many of us on here who do not have an available machine shop nearby, I am looking to purchase a big bore kit soon, but I may wait till the 47's come out. although i tend to get a little antsy-in-the-pantsy when it comes to Spree stuff. Either way I'm sure we'll be talking soon.

No problem!

When the 47mm kit comes out, i'm pretty sure you'll have to bore the case out too, so the base of the cylinder will fit.

Well in that case, I will probably end up just going for the 44mm, no need to be gettin' all crazy. I did happily just recieve my MSD Blaster coil in the mail, so i have a new project, but sadly I was quite click-happy that day and decided to fall for the "no rev limit CDI" Oh well, at least it looks cool. I will definitely be posting my work in the "Projects" thread. It will probably be next month or so before i can get to the big bore kit. but I think you all will like what I've done with her so far. The Before/After shots for the body work alone are pretty neat to say the least, Not to mention the accessories I've installed. Most of which are along the "Because-I-Could" lines rather than the "I-Probably-Need-This" kind. I'm Rambling so
