more spree questions.

ok here goes guys, what oil do you guys recommend using for the injector, i seen castrol 2t, the honda stuff, universal 2 stroke, valvoline 2 stroke, even lucas injector oil? although i havent seen lucas in any store what do you use and what is best? and spark plugs, i have a huge list og different ones i can use, autolite, champion,ngk,bosch, champion in there now and its fine but i cant find ont that the top unscrews, used bosch and it didnt get above 25 put champion back in 30-31. so what are you guys using. and will running mixed gas in it hurt even though it injecting oil? seems to be alot of smoke at start up until its warm. thanks guyz

OIL: Choose a quality 2 stroke oil designed for injector systems. Don't get chainsaw oil designed for premix. You can use injector oil in premix but not visaversa.

PLUG: I wouldn't put Champion in my enemy's car. BTW, the cap will unscrew, just takes a pair of pliers. Most Champion are designed for auto which uses the cap and they don't want them coming loose.

Let's start with NGK. It usually comes without the cap installed. It is probably the best but also more expensive. From there I would go to motorcraft (autolite). Good plug and cheaper than NGK.

I'm assuming you mean mph. Go with NGK or Motorcraft. I think you'll be happy.

Point well taken... And I notice what our local Hondasan stocks. I'm too embarrassed to ask for any other brand. But it doesn't stop there. I tend to get best service with any small engine with NGK, whether it be chainsaw, weedeater, little lawnmowers, riding mower as well as scooters, and I've got em all. As many small motors as I have, I should buy stock in those people.

has anyone tried the E3 diamond fire? i seen where they put it in a sb chevy 350 on horsepower tv and got better top end better hp and less emission, and they have them for small engines. and i too have everything with a motor except leaf blower it took a doup last wek with a bad rod bearing

I wouldn't consider 40 degrees cold. I'm running 6's in most of mine and have a 4 in my NQ50 only because that was what was it it when I bought it, and it's got good color. If you think I'm Luny, you should meet my wife. It was 20 degrees when she made her maiden voyage. I thought it was a dun deal, better put it up for sale. A few days later, it had warmed up to 40 and she wanted to ride again, and going at it ever since.

Put a 6 in it, and when really cold weather gets here, if you have problems starting, put a 4 in it. As for me, once the snow and ice hits, as it does in MIchigan and frequently here, I'm dun ridin'. Service it for the winter and wait for the thaw.

well im in indiana and at the moment it hovers around 80 -95. fall it can get down to 30-40 and yes when snow flies i may got out and turn a donut but after that it serviced and stored. so 6 is the magic number ok sounds good to me i have 2 to change my nq50 spree and a 50cc suzuki fa50 which uses the same plug. although it says ngk/ha and spree ngk/hs or hsa im sure ha is old as it is an 82

odinxxix, yeah, stick with the 6 and winterize when you're no longer brave enough to tough it. 40 is pretty well when I park it.

I run a standard champion plug in my ped, as for the oil I mainly use GN2, but im going to try the castrol 2t oil when I run out of GN2 just to see how it is.

my spree is a rolling NGK advertisement. Where it used to have spree logos, now it proudly displays big NGK logos.
and i run royal purple oil, but i recomend hondasan gn-2, mainly to avoid rekindling of the "dreaded oil thread". i just can't get gn2 locally . avoid cheap oil to avoid expensive bearing replacement.

I heard Royal purple makes 2 stroke injector oil, but it was like $12 a bottle in my neck of the woods. How's that stuff working out for you? RP is what I run in my Honda Fit and I love it!
