Spree Big Bore Problem

Post by Loppis »

I just got my spree running today after installing the 44mm big bore all was good until it hits 20mph then it sputters and stops accelerating. I'm running it with "free flow filter" and the provided jet. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Break it in first. don't try to take it above 20 for about 400 miles.

At half throttle it should be able to surpass twenty it seems like its leaning out on the top end.

so with the airbox a 72 or 78 jet should be right in the ballpark.100 jet is way big even for a 72cc dio so for a 44mm spree, way to big

don't know the number as I don't drill jets.if you have a micro drill set, find the closes drill size to stock and go up from there.drill the next size up from stock and try it first before going bigger on the bit size.

That is true. you can use a drill bit on your stock main jet. I use to that all the time before I just bought a bunch of jets. I forgot what bit I used to get to a 85. I do have 95s. If I placed a 100 instead of a 95 in you 44mm spree kit, get in touch with me so I can mail you a smaller jet.
