Dude have you have an OLD spree....wow i didnt know they made sprees over 120 years ago in 1886.
Have you done any reading?? have you done any research?? why done you start reading and do a little research.
start by looking in the manuel and see if the mounts will work. then see if the electronics will match up. check it out and do the research first ok???

Don't think I've seen any GY6 to Spree threads here, nor any 4 stroke to Spree's for that matter but could be wrong...
There's quite a few threads here on swapping in Aero50 or Elite SE engines to the Spree. Here's a link to get you started

you can swap a gy6 but you will have to reweld motor mounts because the mounts are on the top for the gy6 vs the bottom for the af05 and af16 motors. as for price you will pay about the same for either.its easier to swap in the af05 and af16 engines because there is alot more info on how to do it here on this site and a few others.the gy6 swap you won't find much info if not none because to much is involved to do the swap.
Nothing like getting stroked!

Well, first you better ask yourself how fast you can afford to go...spreetime86 wrote:isn't the DIO motor cost alot?

a gy-6 swap would not fit under the plastics and would extend the wheelbase consiterably. i've thought about it, but 2-strokes are so fun
