this looks the same so you might be able to call them and inquire about the tech specs
Is this a good deal ?

Greetings:

In a previous post to this thread I indicated I had switched up to the 82 and the stock airbox, well-oiled. It seems I was mistaken; the 82 remains sealed in its plastic parts bag. I had installed the 85. The performance change was negligible, but the heat dropped substantially. Saturation-oiling the stock filter provoked rich behavior for the first time. Temps hovering closer to 325 at WOT, rising to under 400 off-throttle.

Tonight I installed the UNI black filter Honda-san got me for $14, shipped. Despite copious spray with K&N filter oil, still with the 85, we were back to temp levels above my comfort zone. In went the 88, which now definitely clipped the top end but didn't decrease temps as much as I'd like. One rise to 450 off-throttle was particularly disconcerting, given that the top speed was lower than the best I had seen using the stock box. WOT temps still 300-325. Is the stock box best with stock bore?

With the temps at least not too scary, I swapped the stock 8.5 rollers for 7.0 Malossis. RPM clearly higher, but it's too dark to see the tach. Temps to be determined in my checkride shortly. I'm seriously considering reinstallation of the stock airbox, and maybe trying the 82? More as this develops.
