87 Spree and the carb is dumping gas. I took it apart and cleaned the carb, I found the float had liquid in it, so I drained it put everything back together and still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

Greetings:

The float does not uh... Float if it has a hole in it and fills with fuel. Your bike won't work right until this is fixed.

I suggest you call your friendly Honda dealer and quote the Parts guy the following numbers to look up:
Float set: 16013-147-004 $24, and I'd also recommend the
Float needle set: 16012-GK8-601 $21
They will likely need to order them.

Alternatively, these kits pop up on eBay by a company kalled Keyster occasionally. May be cheaper, maybe not.

Reassemble carefully and you should find your scooter restored.

It had ( the float) fuel inside of it ,so I drilled a small pin hole in it and drained it then sealed it back up. it worked for half mile then starting dumping again. I will look for a float assembly for it thanks
