****BIKE BANDIT.COM***** BEWARE

Post by novs86 »

I just wanted everyone to know my recent experiences on bikebandit .com

I had purchased a few OEM parts for my Aero 50 scooter. Upon ordering them they didn't have one of the parts in stock and put it on backorder. They shipped everything else and said I wouldn't be charged for shipping when that part came back into stock. I waited 20 days for the part and was very understanding that things do sometimes become backordered. The part finally did come available but they cancelled my order. I called them to ask why it was cancelled and they stated it was because the order was over 25 days old and the system automatically cancels orders of that age. The person at bikebandit said "no problem" and opened a new order. BUT this time charged me more for the part than the first order and re-charged the shipping again for an over charge of $12.55 on my account. I since received the part and they are making me wait 10 more business days for a refund after I had to call and complain 3 times. It seems every time I try to order a part from them something goes wrong with my order. I have ordered three times from them and all three times there was a issue. I will in the future buy else ware since they are not worth the hassle. There are many other options besides them. Keep this in mind when looking for parts in the future!!

They also send a sh*t-ton of spam junk mail once they get your email. And I didn't even get anything from them. Went to the whole order process, credit-card and all and got an email the next day that they don't ship "hazardous materials" to Alaska. C'mon, two scooter tires?! hazardous?

I haven't had great success with them either. I ordered some parts (all available according to site) but then received an email saying about half were unavailable. I called and cancelled the order, or so I thought.

They filled what they could of the order and charged me for it anyway. This is why I have some extra Aero pieces sitting around as I had already placed a second order with a more reliable site.

YES, That was what happened to me previously!!! Then they want a restock fee. There a joke and a half for asking a restock fee for something you told them you didn't want!!!!

I warned a friend of mine! They now did the same to him. They shipped half of his order even after he cancelled it. Now they won't give him a refund for 5-10 bus days.

They've got some great prices on some class brands. I'm looking at the 3.50x10 Pirelli SC 30 Retro now, trying to figure if they will fit my Elite or Dio.

Wow luny you read my mind! I just bought the SC-30 tires for my Aero and they look great. Most people on here buy the SL26 Pirelli tires but I like and went with the retro tire and I'm glad I did! I went with the 3.0 tire though.
