got the bystarter today
got the new bystarter today. bike runs great!!! well for 50cc's anyway....
started tuning carb.. started at 1 7/8 out...but it was always cutting out on top end just dying for fuel so here is what i did
air screw out about 1/2 turn, then idle set so rear wheel doesnt roll.....that seems to be about right... pretty good low end, not so good midrange, and about 28 mph......ANY SUGGESTIONS???
i live in denver metro area about 5800 ft elevation
is there anyway to get more take off speed?, i kind of use the flinstone method of starting out from dead stop....use my feet for the first 5 mph
BY THE WAY
none of this work would have been possible with out the help of this FORUM............THANKS TO EVERYBODY!!
thanks

Check your main jet, stock is either a #65 or 68. Bump up a few sizes (65 -> 68 or 68 -> 70.) You are probably running a bit lean. Also check the needle setting in the slide, should be set to stock.
