Spree airbox question & drilling

Post by benH »

so im putting the 57cc kit on the spree. instructions say to drill a few 1 inch holes in the box. Ive seen a few people say do it on the opposite side of the carb, true? how many holes? I'd like ''A few'' to be more precise, what's worked best for people?

Also, when I first took the airbox off to clean (it was full of oil...) there was no filter in it. Are there filters in these boxes, or is it just an enclosed plastic box system?

If there is a filter, any link to a replacement? Who's that guy with used parts on here? all I see via a google search are the plastic box/fender pieces.

thanks

If they don't have it in stock, they order it. Same price. Buy more than one if you plan on fixing up another bike in the near future.

There is a bozo on Ebay also selling Aero and Elite filters for $22.00!

It amazes me that people pay it. A little internet research goes a long way.
I'd rather be riding my Aero!
