No but my sprees back wheel bearing is pretty nasty sounding it hoesnt have any play and not enough drag to worry about but it souds like s*** when I turn it by hand ( my guess is the balls on mine are pited from water getting in the gearbox). I dont hear it when im riding though.

it sure sounds like it could be wheel bearings, the weel bearings on my car jsut went out 2 days ago and it made a grinding sound when you turned the wheel, but when you would turn and bring teh weight off that wheel it wouldnt make any noise, so its highly possible

My wheel bearing on my Spree was causing the transmission to make this nasty whining noise, I just laid the scooter on it's side and filled it right full of Dexron III trans fluid (the red stuff) and capped it up, it stopped after a few miles.

Whats up with that?
Is there a chance my premixed gas separated a little and it ran way to rich for the first part. and after it ran out of that run just gas? Also does any one know what speed im hitting up there? even a ball park guess would be nice.
Not sure if this is it, but I've found that most scooters pulled out of storage blow smoke when you start them; hypothesis is that the bottom end fills up with oil drippings from the oil pump. Needing to replace the plug soon after pulling one from storage is pretty common for this reason.
