I think a bunch of their problem is they are set up for a max top speed and you being the smart one, realize that only on the front straight do you use top speed. Acceleration is everything in this kind of racing. Great finish to the year. Image
Thanks Bear!! If I had the amount of power they have, it would be even better. but I like the challenge of being under cc'd and under hp'd and still winning or beating bigger cc'd scooters or motorcycles.suspension for next year is in the works for sure.stock suspension is ok but kind of sucks.need some adjustable stuff in the front and rear.

yeah had to race hard and finish on top to end the season on a good note.I felt good yesterday too so that helped with my confidence on pushing the bike hard.it was sliding all over the place.sometimes 2 wheel slides in the corner, front then back and sometime both at the same time.was great.love those controlled slides with the throttle and body shift on the bike.

Greetings:

Baka-san you are my new hero! You not only build and tune bad-assed scooters, but take on Mighty Vespa multi-speeds and beat 'em on their own track. I'm still amazed you don't fry the brakes on that thing!

Nice job!

Oh they get real hot. I discolored the rear rim from trail braking and the front caliper too. Ebc rear brakes is what I use and haven't changed it yet.got 6 practice days and 6 race days on them.so lots of use.time to change now but no brake fade at all.the fronts where ncy brake pads and no fade from those either.

yeah huh!! had to. last race of the season with this group so had to finish on top.plus I came with a fresh new motor with a slightly ported cylinder for more torque just for this track to keep up with the faster bikes. worked great.gained another 2.4mph topspeed down the straight and lots more torque that can be felt coming out of the corners.same pipe and gears.55.4mph down a 580ft straight and still pulling.plus I was fighting for the last podium spot for the season in the mod190cc class.wanted to show that i can podium even after coming in the middle of the season missing 3out of the 7 cup races.great for sponsorship for next year.

When's next season begin?

How 'bout a personal sponsor? I'd love to donate some performance parts after the new year.

Thanks! for the scooter racing, its march or april.Im doing a winter series here at my local track called "stars of motorsports" . the next one is nov.21. there is 5 races so 1 every month.this will be against dirt bikes since so other scooters in my area race yet.i'm trying to get them out there.thats why I race against the dirt bikes.more of a challenge for me.I sent an email to Kevin at standard functions for the front forks.I want to try those adjustable ones they sell.just need a fully adjustable rear now.stock suspension was ok but need better for sure to go faster

only one that has spring preload and a damper knob on the bottom like your rms shock but I think that dampens both way compression and rebound.I want a shock that has the spring preload, a controller for compression and controller for rebound.like the stage6 one or the rpm one
