The shade of the gold got a little darker when the paint dried and in normal daylight.

Also painted the turn signal rack and support bar, that's it for the gold accents. I didn't want to over do it, it's only 4 parts I could remove and repaint if the gold doesn't work out.

Putting it back together.

Cleaned up the engine and painted a couple parts, changed the oils too.

Did a nice wrap and the harness before I put it back on.

I bought this small buffing kit that attaches to a drill, perfect size for scooter body panels.

Just using some cheap compound and polish, I save the good stuff for my cars.

Before: some dust on it but it also had a little haze to the clear.

After:

Thanks! I'm happy with the finish of the paint, all the sanding and prep work paid off.
