xj, Yeah I was looking at it in the car and I was seeing the airbox on the left. Kinda looks like a radiator doesn't it? Maybe put on an expansion chamber.
Good job!

xj97sport wrote:there is no radiator ... and i hope after a good tune it should be a lil better. once i find parts to hop up the clutch ill be good to go ... right now it will do wheelies and wicked burnouts ... and haul butt, thats about all its good for ... AND I LOVE IT next up im going to mount a 2 up seat the plastic (cut to fit) and of course mods hope you all try this swap it really wasnt that hard.

the aero 80 is far too rare a scooter to make it a practical engine swap. i bet it's fun though

how is it a rare bike? i seen a few parts bikes on ebay floating around ... kinda thought about building another one and selling it ... so far i got $40 invested in this one counting the motor and frame.

There is no aftermarket for the Aero80 engine, but I bet you can adapt some from other scoots with modification.

although the areo 50 is relativly common, the areo 80 only graced our american soil for a short stint of two years. production numbers were not nearly as high. so, yeah, in the world of honda scoots, i think this and the express sr take the cake for the rarest.
thus, your statement that everyone should try this engine swap is slightly 'tarded, cuz' there's not enough of them to go around. :eyeroll:
don't get me wrong, it looks like fun n' all, but i think i'll stick to my af16e. it's easier to hide under the body and there is great aftermarket support, allowing for up to 125cc in a smaller package.
