Depends where you live. Try anywhere that sells Vespa/Piaggio scoots.

Yes, but then he needs to find a Dio plant. We're not exactly tripping over them everywhere on the mainland. As for pipes, there are places that will build them for you; jugs on the other hand aren't typically available.

The guy I am currently dealing with has a lot of performance parts for my aero, 3 different bore kits, 3 bigger carbs, 18mm 19mm 28mm, cone filter, 2 different clutches, cdi advanced timing de-restrictive box, performance coil, lightweight fan, 3 different performance pipes, performance intake manifold, etc etc etc.

As for the bore kit, I got that which comes with larger jets and reeds along with the speed variator, there is a guy that restored an aero just like mine only red and an 85 (mine 86) and he got the 2 things i got, the kit and variator, and his goes 45 on flat ground.
Pretty impressiv efor a little scoot. Mine went 35 top with a bad cylinder and piston, so I needed a new cylinder and piston anyway. I open up the intake manifold a bit with a die grinder and emery cloth, and also filed the dual intake ports larger, So I am hoping to go beyond 45, but that guy just bolted on, didnt open up the intake, and no different jets. So I cant wait to see what mine will do with larger jet and reed and opened intake.

Also there is another guy that resotred an aero like mine (did a dang nice job too) and he got some of the performance parts that I can get from this guy, and he got a 19mm carb and better clutch and 7:1 gearing, and his goes 50-55. Thats scootin' along pretty good. (imagine getting a ticket for going 20 over in a 35 zone lol) Here is the site. Pretty interesting to read how much work and time he spent on it.. Down at the bottom there is the parts he got on the right pic.

Dio stuff won't work w/o major mods! 12mm piston pin is the wrong size and over 50mm bore stock won't fit the case, not to mention the porting diffs. You need to use "Vision 50" parts, or parts listed for the Aero, and you may still need to do some minor changes to the case ports. These will have the correct 10mm piston pin and 45-46mm bore, which will fit the Aero 50 cases.
