Take this from a World-Renowned Cheapskate: From what I can gather, you don't want anything stealing what power you have. You got your money's worth out of that six-dollar belt already, and it hasn't stranded you yet. Maybe keep it as a spare?
although i saw no gain, i noticed no marked loss of acceleration or top spreed.
on the flipside, it's a longer belt than stock to account for the fact it is wider. not a "belt mod" as some on the forum do.
if the belt was the stock leingth, the belt would be pulled farther into the rear pully as a result of it's new found home higher up in the front one. the added tension can be reduced by cutting down the center spring, helping to cut down on friction (and in turn, heat and HP loss)
it was not done as a performance mod, just as a cheap alternative to stock. my friend and i have a fleet of sprees (around the shop right now i see *looking around* 6 sprees, a razz, and an elite s), so saving money just means we can buy more scooters and have more friends come with us on spree missions.
