Slow Acceleration, other problems

i think u were right about compression cause my dad looked at it and tightened the nuts on the head and it started up first kick( it also used to have this whistle whenever it was runnin and now it onlky does that after its been running) im thinkin i need to replace the head gasket. but before i go and do that im gonna take the torque wrench to the screws.

so i guess i got 2 questions....
1. where could i find a new head gasket

2.what is the torque setting for the head bolts
