Yes the side cover bolts are starting to snap. I am in Washington State.

And just a note, the pic of your "half moon gear" is a little off from aerorobs pics. Might be problem?

how did that work when you got that half moon gear on right?
and make sure you have the little c clip on the outside of the cover where the kickstart spindle comes out of the cover. it keeps the kick start assembly from making its way into the drive pulley

thanks evilone. i didnt every notice that till you mentioned it. ill fix that next time i switch my rollers out. my kickstart seems to be un affected by the position of that horseshoe shapped thing though, luckily enough... when my kickstart assembly blew up i had a difficult time getting all the parts back where they were supposed to. the half moon gear has a blank spot on the tooth edge where the teeth are not cut in and he needs to put that spot on top of the kick gear instead of under it.

Hey thanks for the pictures and explaination. I haven't worked on it yet, just got home from work. I picked up some new bolts at Lowe's and have my borrowed ez-out in hand. I will let you know how it goes when I get the chance to work on it tonight/tomorrow.
