I swear the shop here carries 7:1 secondary gears, but I'd have to go down and get a tooth count since the owner is a bit clueless.

So your main reason for preferring secondary over primary is price? My local shop sells either gear set for the same price, you may be able to find another seller that has the primaries for the same.

Price being no factor, I'd prefer primary over secondary any day, simply for ease of installation.

I found gears set from 6:1 -9.8:1 ratio and is secondary gears.. Thank you for your help..

Great - no pressure - but if you guys come across sources and tooth count and post - we'll update our gear tables.
