JCC will probably dig out the dies and make them for that quantity. Trick is finding a distributor who has them in stock. I'd be interested in one, I'd estimate at least a dozen others would as well.

A 2mm overbore would be about 55cc or so. Major benefit is being about to use badly scored jugs to fit them. I think 43mm is about as big as you can go with the stock bore, without getting into problems with changing the porting.

The local Honda shop says they can get either a .010 or a .020 over piston. I dont know if .010 is enough to clean up the bore but we'll see.

Ah, right. They're available from Honda in +.25 and +.50mm over.

They do sell the jcc pistons but are out of stock for the spree, they will call the distributor for piston size.

A .5mm increase won't affect anything. You'll probably notice a 2mm overbore, though. Major benefit is being able to use previously "junk" bores.

Yes, except you can't get the 2mm overbore Spree pistons through Honda... actually I'm betting that smaller overbore JCC pistons would be cheaper than they would be through the Honda dealership.

I just found out i have to do an engine rebuild becuase my piston and cylinder walls are all scratched up. ( some metal from sumwhere got on the side of the piston i thnkit was a peice of the rings or sumthin cause it was really thin and it scrathed the heck out of the walls. the scrathes arent too deep but thers a lot of them. i was wondering if i could take this somewhere and get them to bore it out just slightly bigger nad get a new piston and stuff that would all fit without it being to much of a pain. my only other option is to jusst get a new stock cylinder head and piston but i figure i mihgt as well try and get a bit of performance with it all in pieces and stuff.

you shouldnt need a new head. bore is around $40. piston+rings around $65.
