TY, I figure that someday these parts may not be so easy to find and I think it is cool to fix something with nothing:) Plus, for the Gyro guys, it helps them cross parts from other models.
The sad thing is that someday I'll find that ball:)
If you look at a grease fitting, they work the same, cutting/grinding off the tip of the end with the threads on it yields a spring and the ball. Dont use this spring, it is a much higher rate.
Come to think of it, the spring in a standard cigarette lighter may be close to correct if it is cut and stretched out a bit.
