It looks like this and uses the new blade type fuses.

I'm lost Bear, what does that have to do with the clip on the throttle cable?

whats your top mph on your spree and if your more mechanically inclined what does my problem sound like.

My (long gone) '84 Spree topped out at around <>28MPH, hoisting my - then - 200 lb * 'round town. (Since then I've not only lost the weight, but the scoot too. :coolcruise: )

In any event, our good Bud, Bear, is - as always - on the money: the subhuman(s) you brought your scoot to are full of more crap than is likely gumming up your carb. Nothing makes me angrier than an alleged 'pro shop' who are neither pro nor competent. Take the bike back and demand they do as they charged you for - or return your money. Period. :*:

About 96.7% of ALL Spree engine problems are carb related. In most cases, a thorough cleaning (emphasis on 'thorough') is all that's needed. However, failing that, there are some honorable guys who'll sell you a freshly rebuilt carb, saving you the trouble.

Just my 2 centavos, adjusted for the current economic collapse. :ndance:

I believe Zac put a 44mm BBK in my Spree. It moves pretty good.
